There are always two lines of skincare I’ve always wanted to try: French and Korean. Funny enough, there is a brand out there that is a Franco-Korean skincare line. Jowaé, combines the power of both. Jowaé is a product of France, and the word comes from the Korean word for “harmony.” It is a product exclusively available in Shoppers Drug Mart, here in Canada, and it’s definitely one you don’t want to miss.
Jowaé prides on using 93% of its ingredients of natural origins. And it is paraben-free, silicone-free and mineral oil-free. In my partnership with them, I’ve been given a set of four products that I will review to you.
Micellar Cleansing Water
Their Micellar Cleaning Water continues 94% natural ingredients and is certified vegan. Micellar water is all the rage in today’s beauty industry. I always use a Micellar water and a gentle cleanser. It’s important to double cleanse all the grime and dirt of your face. This particular Micellar water contains imperial peony and it makes it smell divine.
Hydrating Water Mist
Their Hydrating Water Mist is an amazing product. I love the smell firstly. It contains sakura blossom water and it feels really hydrating. It is a light and non-sticky mist. This product is 97% natural and it won a nomination with Elle Canada’s Beauty Grand Prix 2019. This is an amazing product to bring with you on trips. And it is always used after cleansing, and before moisturizing.
Moisturizing Light Cream
Jowaé’s Moisturizing Light Cream also smells amazing. This is a light cream with 88% natural ingredients, and it smells just like the water mist, containing that sakura blossom water. It also contains shea nut extract and the super moisturizing Vitamin E. It also contains a host of fruit extracts, such as grapefruit, strawberry, mango, peach and raspberry. It’s a pretty cool cream with a lot of hydrating benefits.
Hand & Nail Nourishing Cream
Their Hand & Nail Nourishing Cream is such a nice lotion to carry with you on a day out. Especially with the weather getting cold, it’s important to keep those hands moisturized. This lotion contains 96% of natural ingredients. I honestly think this is my favorite product that I’ve received from them. It smells so good and it is so nourishing. It contains shea butter and coconut oil. It also has Vitamin E and tea tree extract. It gives the skin a satin finish.
Jowaé is definitely a fairly priced skincare line, with a lot of other fun products to use for your skin. I think it’s great that there is a company that combines French and Korean skincare together. That way you can get the best of both worlds.
