My Favourite Burlington Gems
There are some places that make you appreciate where you live a little more. Burlington has plenty of the obvious favourites, but what I love most are the little pockets that each have their own personality. A beautiful café downtown, a corner that feels unexpectedly European, a patio that makes you want to stay all afternoon, or a quiet green space that feels far away from the city.

Claudio Aprile - More Than a Chef
Celebrity chef Claudio Aprile has spent decades shaping Toronto’s culinary scene, from opening acclaimed restaurants to becoming one of the original judges of MasterChef Canada. Now, he has revived one of his former concepts, Origin, as Bar Origin in downtown Burlington; bringing with him a career built on curiosity, creativity and a refusal to stay in one lane.

5 Things to Do in Burlington this Fall (2026)
Fall gives summer some pretty good competition. There’s just something about this time of year that hits differently. Cooler weather, but not too cold, changing leaves, cozy drinks, and all the little seasonal things that make you want to get outside and actually enjoy it. Fun fact: If you know me, I love Hallmark movies and country music. And fall is the best time to get into those vibes!
