Let me tell you, CeraVe skincare products are my lifesaver. When I’ve used other skincare products, especially during the winter, they didn’t moisturize my face as well. What I love about CeraVe, is that their products can be used on the face as well as the body. I also love that they are fragrance-free and filled with amazing ingredients. They are also a fraction of the price of high-end products, with the same to similar benefits and results. I have three favorites with them.
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
This hydrating cleanser is great for my combination skin. Traditionally, I was combination skin, but I’ve noticed that over time, it leans more towards the drier end. The hydrating cleanser is great because it doesn’t strip my natural oils. It has the three essential ceramides that help keep our skin barrier intact. This helps seal in moisture on your skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid which helps attract moisture to the skin.
CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum
The retinol serum from CeraVe is really cool because, not only does it have the three ceramides and hyaluronic acid, that help with moisture, it also contains niacinamide and retinol. This is the anti-aging product, that you want to use at night. Niacinamide is great for keeping your skin calm from inflammation and helps with acne. And retinol is the only proven ingredient in the beauty world that actually helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It helps your skin rejuvenate and restore.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream
CeraVe has the moisturizing cream and moisturizing lotion. I personally prefer the moisturizing cream, as I feel it is more hydrating. This cream contains the three essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid to assist with moisture. This cream contains a small amount of petroleum, which isn’t bad for you skin, and this helps make the cream more effective, in assisting with very dry skin. Even the $500 La Mer moisturizing cream contains petroleum, which allows it to maintain moisture on your face for a longer time.
