Marie Ernst has the sweetest smile. Her cheerfulness is so infectious it makes you wonder what her secret is. A well-known influencer and fashion blogger, Marie hails from the capital region of Canada. You might have seen her featured in national campaigns with RW&Co. and other Canadian brands – there is no doubt about it, Marie has been a constant presence in the Canadian fashion scene.
Marie believes your style can tell your personal story. “I grew up in Europe and have always been told that fashion and style was a way to express who you are without having to use words,” Marie shared. “I think that really imprinted on me and I truly see clothes and accessories as a way to introduce myself to others. I have always loved shopping (taught by my stylish mom) so this seems fitting for me.”
With her feminine and chic silhouette, you definitely see the European flair coming out for Marie. Born in Belgium, her native language is French. Marie had the chance to live in Quebec for a short time, but now lives in Ontario.
Blogging takes up most of her time and Marie is grateful that it’s turned out so well. “I started my blog a few years ago just to share deals and things I found in store, and that picked up pretty well,” Marie said. “So did my social media, which is what I am lucky to now do full-time.”
Sometimes her job can be a tough balancing act.
“I spend a lot of time on my phone due to my job, so unfortunately boundaries between work and pleasure are hard to keep,” Marie said. “But I do make a point to rarely work when on vacation, it isn't always easy but I do my best to leave my phone in the room and just enjoy the moment.”
Marie is constantly making new content for different brands and usually looks to the weather for inspiration. “If it is sunny, I tend to wear bright colours and fun patterns, if the weather is bad, I will usually be in neutrals and darker pieces,” Marie shared. “I also get inspired by everyone around me. I love being around people and always try to absorb as much of their energy as I can and that translates into my content.”
Marie is looking forward to some exciting partnerships coming up and a lot of traveling. “Travel is very important to me. From my very early adult years I have been making it a priority, as I am the happiest when I can visit new places or have a change of scenery that takes me outside of my comfort zone,” Marie said. “I love meeting people and learning new culture habits, so traveling really is one of my biggest passions.”
For others out their working on their blogging careers, Marie has a message for them. “Just go for it. Don't listen to the noise around you, if it makes you happy just do it. And be consistent. And always be kind to the people who follow you.”

I go swimming. It's been the best workout, puts me in the best mood,
and sets me up for a productive day.

Hands down summer dresses and sandals.

Positive.

Less is more when it comes to your beauty routine.
Find a good cleanser and a good moisturizer.
