If you’re looking for aesthetic photo spots, cute city corners, or places that elevate your content or photos, this list is for you.
Burlington has such a good mix of waterfront views, charming architecture, and luxury-style backdrops that make every photo feel a little more editorial. And editorial is what I specialize in.
Whether you’re taking content photos, branding shots, outfit pictures, or updating your family photos, these are easily some of the best photo locations in the city .
1. Burlington Waterfront

You honestly can’t make a Burlington photo spot list without mentioning the waterfront. Between the waterfront trail, Spencer Smith Park, and the Brant Street Pier, there are so many different backdrops all within walking distance of each other.
The pier gives those clean lakefront views, especially during golden hour, while the trail and park areas feel more relaxed and natural. Whether you want skyline shots, waterfront content, or candid walking photos, this area always works.
2. Village Square

Village Square is one of those places that genuinely feels timeless. Between the vintage-style lampposts, brick facades, cobblestone walkways, and of course the iconic red telephone booth, the entire area gives major England vibes.
Every corner here feels aesthetic without even trying. It’s perfect for café-style content, outfit photos, or those casual walking shots that somehow end up looking cinematic.
3. LaSalle Marina

Tucked away in Burlington’s Aldershot neighbourhood, LaSalle Marina feels like a little slice of Muskoka without having to leave the city. Between the rows of boats, the peaceful waterfront views, and the relaxed marina atmosphere, this spot has a completely different feel from the downtown core.
Whether you're posing along the docks, capturing the boats in the background, or taking advantage of the Lake Ontario views, there’s something effortlessly about this spot. It has that classic lakeside charm that feels equal parts cottage getaway and luxury waterfront living. That makes it one of Burlington’s most underrated spots for content and photography.
4. Pearl and Pine Street

This spot is all about the angle and the city vibe. The curved corner façade of Pearl & Pine gives major Yorkville energy — almost like a little slice of The Hazelton Hotel aesthetic right in Burlington.
If you time it right, you can get those effortless city-style walking shots crossing the street that feel straight out of New York. It’s minimal, chic, and honestly one of Burlington’s most underrated photo spots. At this point, I’m claiming discovery rights because I still haven’t seen anyone else use this spot the way it deserves to be used.
5. Paletta Mansion

If you’ve ever wanted photos that make you feel like you own a lakeside estate for the day, Paletta Mansion is the spot. The mansion itself creates such a beautiful backdrop, and the entire property feels elegant and timeless.
Between the heritage-style architecture, the gardens, lake views, stone pathways, and those classic black bollards lining parts of the walkway that give such an old-English estate feel, there are so many different places to shoot here. It’s one of those locations that instantly makes every photo feel elevated and romantic.
The Way I See It

Burlington honestly has no shortage of beautiful photo locations… you just have to know where to go. From waterfront sunsets to charming heritage-inspired streets, these spots each bring a completely different vibe while still feeling so uniquely Burlington.
I think what makes these places stand out is that none of them feel overly staged. They all have their own personality, and depending on the time of day, your outfit, or the kind of content you’re creating, the same location can give a completely different energy every single time.
Whether you’re planning a full content day or just looking for your next Instagram backdrop, these are definitely spots worth saving. ||
